Mr. Prabodh Mahajan is the son of Late Justice (Dr.) Mehr Chand Mahajan (former Chief Justice of India, Prime Minister, Jammu & Kashmir, who was the President, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi (1936- to 1939 & 1955 to 1964).

He is a renowned Business Consultant, Civic Activist and keen Environmentalist. He was nominated to Municipal Corporation of Delhi (1997-2003) as Elder Man. He has held the prestigious position of President, Friends Colony Residents Welfare Association (2006-12), Vice President, Senior Citizens Forum (South Delhi) (2004-2013), General Secretary of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha, New Delhi, since 1999.

Shri Prabodh Mahajan began his career as a management trainee with Kasier Aluminium, U.S.A., U.S.A.in the year 1964-66. After returning to India Mr. Mahajan served with HINDALCO Industries ltd, the market leader in aluminium and copper, for ten years as the Executive Sales and Marketing Manager. He set up a manufacturing industries specializing in Household appliances and Ayurvedic Medicines 1980-2006.

He is presently the Vice-President DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi and Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha, New Delhi He has been a member of the DAV College Managing Committee since 1991 and elected Secretary of the DAV College Managing Committee (1998-2011). He has widely travelled to U.S.A, Canada, Japan and European countries.
