#Christmas Celebration at DAV Public School Jasola Vihar – A Day of Joy and Reflection
On 24th December 2024, the spirit of Christmas enveloped DAV Public School, Jasola Vihar, as students from Classes 4C, 4D, 7A, 7B, and 11 gathered in MPH 1 to witness a heartwarming Christmas celebration.
The program began on a cheerful note with a delightful talk by a student dressed as Santa Claus, spreading the message of love and joy. Principal Dr. V.K. Barthwal then addressed the audience with an inspiring speech that set the mood for the day, emphasizing the true essence of Christmas as a celebration of compassion and togetherness.
A series of vibrant events followed, starting with a melodious Christmas carol performance that filled the hall with festive cheer. Students from the middle and senior wings presented a poignant skit on the right way to celebrate Christmas, encouraging everyone to focus on spreading kindness and positivity.
Adding to the richness of the event, Shantanu of Class 11 paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Ustad Zakir Hussain through a brief yet impactful speech, showcasing the significance of art and culture. This was followed by a mesmerizing dance performance choreographed under the expert guidance of Manju Ma’am, leaving the audience in awe.
The celebration also recognized and honored excellence, as Principal Sir awarded certificates, medals, and trophies to Alishba Shahzad and Kajal Awana of Class 11 for securing the 1st position, and Akshita and Madhav of Class 8 for bagging the 2nd position in the prestigious interschool competition ATLENT 3.0, held under the guidance of Nitika Mangla Ma’am.
The program concluded with a gracious vote of thanks delivered by Primary Wing Supervisor Ms. Sarika Dhingra, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the celebration memorable.
