Visit to NATIONAL MUSEUM OF INDIA, HUMAYUN TOMB And UGRASEN KI BAOLI on the eve of WORLD HERITAGE DAY, 18.APRIL.2024
Our school embarked on a journey through time and culture as the Department of Social Science at DAV Public School, Jasola Vihar, explores the National Museum of India, Humayun Tomb, and Ugrasen Ki Baoli on the auspicious occasion of World Heritage Day, April 18, 2024 where two of our Social Science faculty Ms Suhani Bhati and Ms Nupur Sharma along with students of classes 7th , 8th and 9th witnessed the intricate architecture, rich cultural heritage, and resilient monuments that serve as testaments to human ingenuity and creativity. Each site stands as a reminder of our shared humanity and the diverse narratives that weave our collective history. To celebrate and preserve the global heritage, and to honor the timeless beauty that enriches lives and connects us across generations. Special thanks to our esteemed Principal, Dr. VK Barthwal, for providing us with this invaluable opportunity to delve into the panorama of history and ignite curiosity in the minds of students.
The visit was surely an enriching one for both the teachers and the students.
