Preschoolers at DAV Jasola Vihar marked Earth Day with green-shirted enthusiasm. They colored badges symbolizing environmental commitment before exploring the school garden, guided by teachers. Through close observation of nature, they learned about the importance of trees and plants. Teachers captured precious moments as the children interacted with the environment, fostering a deeper connection. Lessons on environmental stewardship instilled values of conservation. With newfound appreciation, the preschoolers left empowered to protect the planet.

On Earth Day, the school lawn transformed into a vibrant venue for Class 1 CCA's celebration, titled "Dharohar - Trees are Precious." This event showcased our youngest learners reciting poems and engaging in activities that emphasized the critical role of trees in ecological balance and environmental sustainability. The students, full of enthusiasm and adorned in green-themed outfits, took the stage one by one to share their poems, which eloquently highlighted the beauty and importance of trees in our lives.
Following the poetry recitation, the event shifted to a hands-on activity where each child, accompanied by their teachers, planted saplings around the school grounds. This activity not only beautified the campus but also served as a practical lesson on the importance of reforestation and personal responsibility towards Earth.
The highlight of the day was the active participation of our honourable Principal sir DR V.K BARTHWAL, who not only supported the event but also personally planted a tree, symbolizing the school’s commitment to greener practices. He commended the students for their thoughtful expressions and efforts, reinforcing the message that even the youngest among us can make a significant impact. His words left a lasting impression, encouraging ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship. This Earth Day event was a meaningful convergence of education, appreciation, and action, fostering a green consciousness among students from a tender age.

Students engaged in bilingual slogan chanting, emphasizing the importance of saving energy. They crafted visually striking placards to underscore the message. The event ignited a sense of responsibility in the children, reminding them of our collective duty to preserve Earth as there's no planet B. Let's unite to embrace green practices and safeguard our home.

DAV Public School, Jasola Vihar celebrated World Earth Day with a role play competition prepared by class 3 students that highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability. Students and teachers came together to participate in this event! All the participants performed where they showcased Happy Earth and Sad Earth scenarios and the reality through which our mother Earth is going through right now! We all must take initiatives towards a healthy planet now.The event was a great success and Principal sir praised and congratulated all the participants for the great efforts!

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION
Earth Day encourages us to reflect on what we are doing to make our planet a more sustainable and liveable place.
Let’s make Small positive action to preserve our beautiful planet. Go green.... reduce , reuse and recycle.
To inculcate love and care for nature in our students an Inter house Mosaic Art Activity was planned for classes 6th- 8th and Debate Competition on theme Planet VS Plastic for classes 9th -12th to celebrate Earth Day which is observed on 22nd April every year.
The Earth Day Celebration at DAV Jasola Vihar not only provided a platform for fun and creativity but also instilled in the young minds a sense of responsibility towards our planet earth.
