DAV Public School, Jasola Vihar recently hosted a captivating celebration of literature “Namami Gyanam” Library & Literature Festival. This event, held on Dec 26, 2023, brought together book enthusiasts, authors, and literary connoisseurs to engage in a myriad of activities that celebrated the written word.
A moment of significance was unfolded by our Chief Guest, Dr. Nisha Peshin(Director DAVCMC, PS-II), Smt. Prem Lata Garg (Manager), Col. Dhawan, Sh. Neelesh Kulkarni, Sh. Sanjay Singh Baghel, Sh. Chirag Jain, Smt. Ritu Barki, Sh. Ashutosh and LMC Members by commencing the event proceedings with the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony.
Program Highlights:
Author Interactions: One of the festival's main attractions was the opportunity for attendees to interact with acclaimed authors. From best-selling novelists to emerging literary talents, the festival provided a platform for readers to connect directly with the writers.
Author’s Desk: Engaging and insightful engaging of Author's with students exploring diverse literary themes. From the impact of technology on storytelling to discussions on social issues portrayed in literature, the panels sparked intellectual conversations among participants.
Book Launches and Signings: The festival witnessed the unveiling of several new literary works.
Character's meet, Vedic mantra, The Divine Quality of Mercy by Shakespeare, Hasya Kavita and Dance were the main engaging attractions to the guests.
Interactive Workshops on Caricature, Bookmark and Facemask Designing, Calligraphy Competition and Quiz aimed to foster a deeper connection with literature catering to various interests and skill levels.
Book Fair from NBT, Maheshwari Publishers was the one among the main attractions for the participants, visitors. The school also organized fun filled games prepared by students from classes 7-11 under teacher’s guidance.
