DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL JASOLA VIHAR(PRIMARY WING) commemorated its Graduation Ceremony for the batch of 2022-2023 on 14th March. The event was initiated by the dignitaries lighting the lamp followed by the welcome song and saraswati vandana.
The honourable chief guests Sh Baldev Mahajan, Dr Prabha Mahajan and the school manager ma'am Ms Premlata Garg were greeted with the saplings.
The celebration commenced with the beautiful theme"Urvara"- SOIL..The mother, where students of class 1 -5 presented a ballad.
The gathering was then addressed by the honourable Principal Dr V.K. Barthwal highlighting the vision of the school and role of parents and teachers in the students’ learning process.
The chief guest Sh.Baldev Mahajan addressed and advised the students to cultivate the skill of wisdom, nurturing it like a plant, in tranquillity and calmness, and enriching it every now and then, with real-life interactions with peers and elders. The most important part of the day- "Graduation Ceremony "started with the smart scholars of class 2 and 5 dressed in graduation robes and caps walking on the stage. The Principal Dr.V.K.Barthwal along with the Chief Guest and supervisor Ma'am Vandana Bhargava felicitated the students with momentos of Graduation. Children were looking smart in their graduation robes and caps. The presentation of mementos to the graduating students of class 2 and class 5 was interspersed with a spectacular and mesmerising dance performance.
The programme ended with Grand finale followed by vote of thanks. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for not only the scholars but also a proud moment for the parents and the mentors as they witnessed their children receiving Graduation Day momentos from the dignitaries.
