REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2024-25
Event Start Date : 24/01/2025 Event End Date 24/01/2025

“Freedom in Mind, Faith in Words, Pride in our Heart, Memories in our Souls.

Let's Salute the Nation on the 76th REPUBLIC DAY.”
The Constitution of India, which was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949, came into effect on January 26, 1950. This day is celebrated with fervour and pride across India. This is the day when India was declared as the ‘Purna Swaraj Country’. From then, we began celebrating this day as the anniversary of the “Purna Swaraj Day”.
To celebrate the occasion and to pay respect to the unwavering courage and sacrifice of our freedom fighters a colourful program was held at the school ground today.
The program began with the inspection of the parade by our honourable Principal Dr V K Barthwal guided by Sub Lieutenant and Associate NCC Officer Sir Naresh Singh Bisht. The electrifying parade was a beautiful display of coordination, discipline and unity of the marchers. The flag unfurling was followed by an array of energetic performances from young DAVians including the poems, speeches, melodious patriotic songs and dances.
The program concluded with the blessings from our Principal sir, who emphasised the importance of developing an integrated personality and becoming true global citizens who cherish and carry the true essence of our rich heritage and culture.
This day reminds us of the hard work, sacrifices, and dreams of our freedom fighters and leaders who shaped the India we live in today.
Wishing you all a very Happy Republic Day!
