DAV Public School, Jasola Vihar Observes 'Veer Bal Diwas'
DAV Public School, Jasola Vihar, observed Veer Bal Diwas from December 26 to 28, 2024, to honor the unparalleled bravery and sacrifice of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Chaar Sahibzaade.
The event commenced with a special morning assembly, where the students of Class 8, and Ma’am Chandrakiran, presented an enlightening talk and soulful shabad kirtan. Their presentation emphasized the values of courage, devotion, and humanity as exemplified by the Sahibzaade.
As part of the celebration, students visited Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Ji and Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib Ji. These visits provided them with a spiritual and historical perspective, connecting them deeply to the sacrifices of the Sikh gurus.
Additionally, students from Classes 3 to 9 were inspired by an educational movie based on the life and legacy of the Chaar Sahibzaade. The film beautifully depicted their sacrifices and unwavering commitment to justice and humanity.
The school Principal Dr. V.K. Barthwal addressed the students, encouraging them to imbibe the virtues of selflessness and resilience from the lives of the gurus. He highlighted the importance of understanding and valuing the lessons of history in shaping a compassionate and courageous future.
The observance of Veer Bal Diwas left a profound impact on the students, instilling in them a sense of pride and responsibility toward humanity.
